Tamil Nadu defeated Karnataka in a last-ball thriller in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 on Monday.

The second year in a row, Tamil Nadu has won the national T20 tournament.

R Sai Kishore's spectacular spell restricted Karnataka to 151/7, and by the time N Jagadeesan (41) and Vijay Shankar (18) fell in consecutive deliveries in the 16th over, Manish Pandey's team looked in control.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was won by Tamil Nadu after a last-ball Six by Shahrukh Khan.

Tamil Nadu needed five from the final delivery and Shahrukh hit it over square leg to secure the victory. With 33 runs out of 15 balls, Shahrukh Khan shows he is an excellent finisher.
